Cardno is seeking experienced Landscape Installation Supervisor to contribute to the enhancement and preservation of Florida natural habitats, performing landscape installation to enhance natural habitats. Daily work tasks include installation of grasses, shrubs, trees, and aquatic vegetation, as well as treatment of invasive vegetation. Operating a tractor, skid steer, UTV/ATV and 4-wheel drive pickups are a daily occurrence. Projects will involve technical field work in hot and humid conditions. A typical work day consists of 8 hours in‐the‐field performing plant management techniques, although, in accordance with the requirements of specific assignments, may include longer hours. This position may require occasional overnight travel.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years Landscape Installation experience required
• Experience leading a 2+ person crew performing Landscape Installation.
• Ability to read blueprints and grade stakes
• Knowledge of native and invasive plant species shrubs, grasses and trees
• Maintain quality control of projects and regularly updating project manager
• Communicate with staff on project production timelines
• Promote a safety culture.by providing positive field safety image
• Experience operating equipment (tractor, mower, skid steer, etc.)

Desired Qualifications:

• High school or greater. Experience in the environmental services field preferred, but not required.
• FDACS Commercial Applicator License or ability to obtain. Preferable FNGLA certification or combination of experience and education.
• Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required. Must be able to read and write effectively as to prepare daily tasks, administrative paperwork, and email correspondence
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook (Excel preferred)
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and ability to obtain a CDL medical card
• Mechanical knowledge of tractor / Loader operation, mower, auger, skid steer, chainsaw, back sprayer
