Green Isle Gardens Nursery in beautiful Groveland, Florida, seeks sales associates to help with expanding native plant business.

This is an opportunity to work with a forward-thinking grower and learn about an environmentally significant and rapidly growing market.

Located 45 minutes west of downtown Orlando, we serve wholesale, landscape and retail customers. We are also closely allied with conservation organizations and support environmental education programs onsite.

We specialize in Florida native plants and wildflowers, with a focus on upland plant species. We have 28 acres and we are growing more than 250 species of native plants. We sell over one million plants annually.

Our plants are grown without using pesticides, with the goal of preserving nature, and all its critters, in mind.
In addition to our native plants, we offer landscape design and maintenance services for both private residences and commercial businesses.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work full-time, 40 hours per week- this includes Saturdays
• Must be able to work OUTSIDE
• Basic computer and phone skills
• Must have a basic understanding of Florida eco-types, native plants, and their communities
• Ability to walk, stand, and talk, for long periods of time while helping customers
• Able to lift and move potted plants in a timely, efficient manner
• Basic gardening skills – planting, watering, placement
• Passionate about wildlife/habitats and sharing that passion with others
• Bilingual (not necessary but helpful)
